PSV Leave of absence for PSV

[ 2010.07.09. ]

Balázs went back to Eindhoven after his summer holiday on 27th June and started training the next day. The first part of the training season ended on Wednesday, players are off duty until next Tuesday.

PSV started training for the next season two weeks ago. Some players joined the team later due to longer holidays, and the ones playing in the World Cup will begin their holidays now.
PSV started out playing some lower division amateur teams and defeated them all hands down. Dzsudzsák attended four fixtures and scored 3 goals out of the total of 33. Several new transfers joined PSV too (Atiba Hutchinson, Jeremain Lens). On Wednesday team members were having a last session, and then everyone went separate ways. Balázs of course travelled home at once, even more so, as one of the open-air World Cup watching places had been set up right next to his flat. It is easy to imagine the sentiments and enthusiasm of the crowd Tuesday night when Holland won themselves into the final. “All I could see when I looked out of my window was a huge screen and a massive orange crowd. The celebration was unbelievable, fans went absolutely mad, it was impossible to sleep because of the noise and singing,” said Balázs.
On his arrival to Hungary, he jumped into his days off with his usual vehemence: friends, relatives, and hairdresser. And if you are lucky, you might bump into him at the Balaton Sound festival this weekend.

Did you know...

... that Balázs debuted in the Hungarian jersey against Greece, and he also scored his first goal in the national team against the Greek?
